
2 way syncing A lot of good suggestions but freefilesync is I believe the best most flexible application for this.I'm not sure, but maybe it's not working.) Also the file is going to have to be saved to be backed up successfully. (I think Backblaze may try and use it as well. FreeFileSync uses the Volume Shadow Copy service, which should copy the file while locked. BackBlaze doesn't backup files that I leave open for weeks - my most important files Try backing them up to another location with FreeFileSync while open.

It has cloud support, though I've only used it for syncing to a NAS disk attached to my router.
